Batter Up! An All Star Baseball Theme Birthday Party
A day at the ballpark is a classic summertime memory for me as a child. The excitement of sitting in the bleachers with my dad, hotdogs and popcorn, cheering with the crowd! Any little slugger would love it! Use the cute little signs to decorate your door and table. Make it personal with your own text. Invitation, cupcake toppers, labels, signs and water bottle wrappers are all editable! All available to members of The Printable Party Shop

Vintage Twin Dick and Jane Themed Birthday Party!
This adorable Vintage Twin Birthday Party was featured on Kara’s Party Ideas, another favorite on my blog list. I love all the little details in this party, the cute little cupcake toppers, popcorn cones, the clothes line backdrop….. too too sweet!

Awesome Olympics Parties Kick-Off a Fun New Year of Theme Parties…..
We made it through the busy holiday season and burst right into a busy new year with back to back birthday parties. I was so excited when one of our favorite clients contacted us about planning an Olympic theme party for her son’s birthday. We’ve done some sports themes and obstacle courses but never the Olympic theme idea. I love brainstorming new parties, all the games and decorations! I get a little obsessive about researching and really creating something cool and different.
A rented rec center gymnasium gave us ample space to really spread out the games. I decorated round tables with primary color tablecloths, and centerpieces with stacked boxes and signs with the birthday boys party logo design. I layered white plates over larger red, blue, and green plates for the settings and scattered the tables with gold trophies and medals.
The snack table (labeled the refueling station) featured lots of goodies for the kids to munch on. Bowls of trail mix, pretzels, and goldfish were Gold Medal Goodies. Ice cream cones with popcorn were Competitors Crunch. I made little labels for the water bottles also.
The party started with Registration. I designed t shirts with the birthday boys name in the Olympic rings and “2012 Birthday Challenge.” Each guest got a t shirt and then we assigned them to a team (red, blue, or green) and gave them a nametag. After everyone was in uniform we introduced the coaches for each team.
Each team had to complete a list of challenges: Long Jump, Discus Throw, 40 Yard Dash, Ribbon Twirling, Goal for the Gold and finally Bob Sled. We took the highest score or best time and posted the winning team for each competition on a scoreboard.
We ended the party with an Awards Ceremony. Each child was given a medal, a trophy and a certificate. The party was a big hit and everyone really loved all the challenges. Plus, it was so much fun watching the kids really get into some of the games, working together to create a ribbon twirling routine or keep their teammate on the “bobsled”—skateboard! Lol!

Paw Patrol Party for My Little Pup’s Third Birthday
Paw Patrol party ideas and inspiration, and grab the free printables I designed to throw your own awesome Paw Patrol birthday party!
Last weekend my baby turned three! How have three years gone by so fast? I feel like the last year especially has just been a whirlwind. But there's no time for tears when you've got a party to plan. Luckily, my dear friend Allison was in the same boat, so since our kids share the same quirky birthdate we decided to pair up and throw our little pups an awesome Paw Patrol paw-ty they would love!
These signs! Aren't they the cutest
They are handmade by Tat2mama3 and you can order them from her Etsy shop.
If you have a young child I'm sure I don't need to tell you who the Paw Patrol are. You can probably sing the theme song and name atleast half the characters right? I have to admit, I kinda love the show too. They are super cute little pals and I love that they work as a team and are always helping each other out.
Anyways, back to the task at hand…. planning an awesome Paw Patrol birthday party. Allison is awesome in the kitchen and can whip up a batch of cookies or bake an Italian dish that will make you beg for more, so she offered to handle the food part. Thankfully, because I'm not the worlds best or most patient baker. Check out some of Allison's amazing, healthy meals on her blog loveviafood.com.
I was in charge of party decor, something ya'll know I love. Here are a few pics of what I pulled together along with details so you can create this look too.
Paw Patrol Party Decorations — Kids table filled with fun. Paw Patrol masks, fire hats like Marshall, construction hard hats like Rubble, and fun bone shaped drinking cups. (see where to buy at bottom of page….)
These cute cardboard doghouses are from Birthday Express and made for fun photo ops with all our little pups. Balloons were a mix of Paw Patrol ones in primary colors and paw print ones I found on Amazon (see details below.)
For party activity and as part of the party favor I set-up a puppy adoption table. The kids got to pick out their own puppy to take home, and each had a collar with a Paw Patrol charm that also could be used as a charm bracelet. I designed the Paw Patrol Adoption certificates, and you can download them for free. Links are listed below.
Paw Patrol Party Food— I love the Marshall pumpkin Allison painted, he's so cute. And she made this Pup-peroni bread that was so delicious! — LoveViaFood
And how cute are the Sand Wish-bones she made! — LoveViaFood Blog
Paw Patrol Cupcakes — I'm obsessed with how cute these cupcakes are! (LoveViaFood.com) Brady ate three, we couldn't pull him away from the cupcake table. Clearly he is a big fan of all things chocolate.
Our adorable Paw Patrol squad blowing out their birthday candles.
Paw Patrol Presents — The BIG birthday surprise and best birthday present ever for a three year old, the new Paw Patrol Lookout Climber! This is the coolest of cool kids toys! The kids all freaked out with excitement when they saw this in the backyard. Most of the party was spent climbing and sliding. (The Lookout Climber is new from Step2 and sold exclusively at Toys”R”Us.
Our PAW-TY was awesome, everyone had a blast. Now it's time to start getting ready for Christmas, pulling out all our decorations and making shopping lists. Well, after I finish sobbing over how big my baby is already and wishing that time would just stand still.
How do all you mommas handle birthdays? Please tell me I'm not the only one who is a big ball of emotions….
This party and blog post was made possible with the support of our partners: Step2, Tat2Mama3, Birthday Express. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar First Birthday
The Very Hungry Caterpillar – First birthday parties are always exciting to plan! There are so many adorable themes and the Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of the cutest. In case you don't have little ones (and haven't read the story hundreds of times) it's about a caterpillar who eats his way through a delicious assortment of fruits and snacks. The hungry little caterpillar munches through one apple, two pears, three plums and so on…… so the story is excellent for teaching basic counting. The dessert bar was filled with colorful candies and fruits to tie into the story. I created labels featuring the cute little caterpillar for the fruit, and used a gorgeous tiered cake as the centerpiece.
Check out pics from our Very Hungry Caterpillar Party
Hungry Caterpillar Cake
Isn't this two tiered birthday cake super cute? I love the little caterpillar inching his way across the top. We designed the big first birthday banner to go above the party dessert table. And I created all these cute Hungry Caterpillar printable party signs for the activity tables.
We set up this cake table and added cute food table labels to all the party food. And the water bottle labels turned out adorable.

First Birthday Party Ideas
Since it was a first birthday party most of our party guests were preschool age. I set up activity tables to keep the kiddos entertained and give them a chance to create their own Hungry Caterpillar art. A box of fuzz balls, google eyeballs and popsicle sticks. Coloring pages and a cute apple bracelet activity.
